Please note -- Due to the ever changing landscape of the web, bad luck, and evil Halloween Demons, some sites that are linked in this article have gone down. After all, this article is a year old. Check out the 1998 Halloween articles here, and here. There are still a lot of great working links here though, so stick around!
Creed Greetings, and Happy Halloween! Halloween is my favorite time of year, and I've been scouring the Web for creepy images. I'll start with television, then I'll get to the movies. Well, the first show I thought of for Halloween was The Munsters. I think the show was really great, even better than The Addams Family. A nice spot to stop by is The Munsters Fan Club International (now down). Their site doesn't have many graphics but, if you join for $16.95, you get a lot of stuff, including a hard copy 8x10 photograph of the cast signed by one or more surviving cast member. But we're on a search for lots of pictures, so let's creep over to The Marilyn Munster Home Page. It's mostly about Pat Priest who played one version of Marilyn. There aren't a lot of pictures, but they have a couple of high quality black and white shots that are worth your time if you're a fan. It's under construction, and promises lots of images are on the way, so you may or may not want to check back. If we take a shortcut through the cemetary, we'll come across The Munsters!, a site with a sizeable collection of pictures, and Dawn's Munsters Site (now down), another good site with pictures. Well, we still haven't found the motherlode yet, so let's go back to that graveyard, and see what we can dig up . . . . Wow, what's this? The Yorksite Munster Page, Munster Pictures, and The Munster Picture Gallery were all buried here, and have lots of pictures! Well, that's it for the Munsters, and if you're looking for The Addams Family, simply check out www.addamsfamily.com. The site has tons and tons of pictures; you won't need to look anywhere else! In the movie department, there are a lot of great sites too. A site that covers the three best slasher movies ever, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, and Friday the 13th is Joseph Kimbler's Horror Website, which has some pictures, and a lot of information. You won't find a better Nightmare on Elm Street page than A Nightmare on Elm Street on the Web. It has tons of pictures, as well as a lot of other stuff! There are a lot of good sites about the John Carpenter movie Halloween, including Jesper Bjerg's John Carpenter site (now down), a really great place with lots of pictures from John Carpenter's movies. Be sure to check out Prince of Darkness while you're there, it rocks! For any other John Carpenter movie, including Halloween, Marc Bright has the best link page here. Check it out. There's even a link to my They Live site the guy has taste! For Friday the 13th, these pages should have something you'll like: Pics of Jason, and Friday the 13th Pictures (now down). Go To Page: 1 2
