First I'd like to apologize to my regular readers and the regular visitors to my site. I've been having a ton of computer and connection problems that I hope have finally cleared up. Hopefully everything will be running smoothly from here on!
Yowza! This whole article is about the amazing movie The Matrix. I've seen it seven or eight times now and it's changed the way that I appreciate movies. It's not an action movie, but it has more action than most other movies. It has some of the coolest special effect sequences I've seen, but it's definitely not an effects-only movie. There's tons of substance behind the flash! The story and casting of The Matrix are it's strongest points.
I love movies that show that reality is subjective. The Matrix does that. I love Big Brother/Conspiracy/Illuminati stories. The Matrix definitely is one. This movie will make your mind think things that it probably never does. What exactly is the nature of reality? Do things exist, or do we just think they exist and is there a difference? If you like any science fiction at all, you'll love the story in The Matrix!
The cast of the Matrix definitely kicks major ass! Two of my favorite actors play the lead characters. Keanu Reeves has been in a lot of great movies. If you're looking for pictures and links for Keanu, check out his page at Movie Times. Also, check out Point Break and The Devil's Advocate, they're other great movies that Keanu was in. The other great actor in The Matrix is Laurence Fishburne. Laurence is one of the best actors ever and he really rocks in The Matrix! He's right up there with Al Pacino on my list of favorite actors.
There are a lot of cool Matrix sites out there to check out. The official site has an ingenious password system that lets you access more of the site using a password from the end credits of the movie. That's a cool way to put possible spoiler content on the site without spoiling the movie for those who haven't seen it!
