Welcome to my article about great entertainment images on the Web. In these articles, I try to point you all toward great sites that have lots of entertainment images.
First I'd like to point out the closing of a great image source. The Movie BBS was a top quality image source that had great content for a lot of movies. I visited the site a lot and even linked to it from my personal site. Well, the last time I tried to visit, it was gone. Hopefully most of their pictures were taken and used on fan sites. If not, they're gone now. This just goes to show that image collectors are needed on the web so when a good site like this one goes down the pictures aren't lost.
Okey, I found a few cool new image sources that I'd like to share. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is one of the top 5 coolest shows running right now. It's just amazing. Well if you've surfed Buffy sites before, you've noticed that a lot of sites have the same pictures. Well, the Cyberpaws Buffy Photo Browsing Gallery is the answer you've been looking for. This site has tons of Buffy related magazine articles scanned! It's a great spot, so check it out for yourself.
That reminds me. These Image Sources articles point the way to online image sources. Well, I'd also like to mention that there are some cool magazines out there that you should be getting regularly if you're an image hound like myself. Just keep in mind that to make use of the images for anything computer related, you'll need a scanner. Let's start with Fangoria. I've only bought a few issues of this one, but every one I've seen was cool. This mag usually has cooler articles than pictures, but there are usually a few good pics in every issue. The latest one I bought last month had a really great article about the amazing movie Disturbing Behavior. Apparently the studio made the director cut out a lot of cool stuff. Another magazine that I get on a regular basis is Cinescape. This magazine always has tons of great movie and tv images! Their website is cool too, but it's more of a place to get breaking movie news and rumors than pictures. Sci=Fi Universe is another great graphically rich magazine that I'd highly recommend. There are a lot of great, clear pictures in every issue from great science fiction entertainment! The last magazine that I get regularly is Sci-Fi TV. This mag covers any and all sci-fi or fantasy tv shows that are currently running! It's a cool mag and it usually has lots of cool pictures. Those are the ones I usually buy, but there are others out there that I've heard lots of good stuff about. Unfortunately, I can never seem to find them. They include Starlog, Movieline and SFX.
