You know, it's been a year since I started out here. I remember the night my parents went to the hospital at midnight because my late grandmother was taken there for precautionary reasons. (She passed away months later of something else). While I waited, I decided to read more into an eMail a friend had sent me. I looked at the Mining Co., a place someone I knew worked for, and Suite101. I applied to Suite101 that night, working until 4:00 am on my application while waiting for my parents to come home. I asked Mining Co. if they had room for my suggested topic. I was given a resounding "You can't bring your expertise here because we want to suck!" and I've been here ever since.
