The topic Hypochondria has not been in the past year a fun, pleasant, cheerful, or even entertaining topic. In 2004, I will be presenting a couple of articles with a 'lil cheerier' mood to them.
Nevertheless, this past year, RoseMeade's Wellness Center did get visited by over 1,000 people per month (1800+ for one month.) So, we are certain there are people seeking information being presented here... visitors who wish to find out more about hypochondria and its related illnesses. These visitors usually stop in to read one or more of the informative insights of mine that were written during the past year. Most of my visitors come hoping for help and never say a word. Every now and then, a visitor comes to visit, reads something of interest to them, and then writes to me seeking a new healthy life for themselves or for their loved ones. Because of this, my sharing has not ended. Something I have not mentioned in a while is that I am not a doctor, psychologist, therapist or even a nurse. I am, however, a recovered victim of hypochondria. My being a survivor of incest, rape, addiction, and a battered wife survivor has provided me the life experiences that allow me to share on a 'real' level with others. My guidance leans toward showing others how my life changed its quality. This shepherding will eventually show others how to drop staying a victim. If you will take the time to read some of these articles, they could cause you to see recovery can be a crucial part of your life. It is my belief, that the more service work I do to others, the more I get to keep my well health and recovery. The Hypochondria and other health related articles are not presented here to gain me popularity. I am not sharing to be 'cool' -- my goal is to help the victims of this world to see that well-health is possible for them. In addition, it is important to know you are not alone in your suffering. Forced Victims at http://www.forcedvictims.com was built to address those of us who have been forced to silence. Silence in, and of, itself, can cause illnesses. Not being able to talk about your feelings, thoughts and life events cause a build-up of unsaid information that, if released, would allow you, the victim, to move into a recovery mode. Therapists world wide, along with physicians, nurses and treatment facilities make this fact known very fast to their clients. Yet, there are still thousands of people harmed by others who keep their secrets to themselves. There is another group of people who harm themselves. These people tend to hold their secrets to themselves as well. These victims too, stay ill.
