How To PrepareThink of everything that you need to do before going hunting. Buy Tags, Get Ammo, Find A Hunting Spot, and Practice. Yes Practice. You should never go hunting with out practicing at least a little. Here are some practice suggestions. Before going duck hunting, you could try trap shooting. This activity will show you how good you are going to do and how good your gun is sighted in. Before going Gun Hunting, shoot at a card board box that has a big X in the middle. (Make sure that there is a stable back drop that can stop a bullet) When doing this, you can see how good your gun is sighted in and also you can see if you are rusty. Before Going Bow Hunting, shoot at a bale of hay that has a piece of paper attached with a big X in the middle. This way you can see if you are sighted in and if you are rusty. Before going hunting for anything, you must make sure that your weapon is sighted in and that you are confident in your shooting abilities. If you don't practice or if you don't sight in your weapon, you are wasting your time going hunting. As the old saying says "Practice Makes Perfect", practice does make you better or near perfect.
