Hungarian geographical names

Did you know, that there are some Hungarian geographical names worldwide outside of Carpathian Basin? It is true that there are more English names on maps, but Hungarian is not a world language and Hungary had not sea power to discover new unknown lands. Hungary had some explorers who worked and discovered lots of interesting places in Asia, Africa, and America. The discovered geographical objects were named after these explorers and famous scientists.

These objects are: Mount Boda (Antarctic) Peak Cholnoki (Sexotern Dolomits, Cadin Islands) Mount Almásy (Libian desert) It was named after Count Almasy, who was the hero of the movie English patient. Mount Loczy (Tien-San) Peak Reguly (Komi Republic, former Soviet Union) Teleki Valley (Kenya) Mount Teleki (Kenya) Island Zichy Ödön (Franz Joseph Islands, Sea Barrents) Zsigmondy glacier (New Zealand)

And did you know that there are Hungarian geographical names out of the Earth? For example in the Moon are some craters, which were named after Hungarian astronomers and scientists.

These objects are:

Békésy crater (51,9° S, 126,8° E) Physicist, Nobel Prize Bolyai crater (33,6°S, 125,9°E) Mathematician Eötvös crater (35,5°D 133,8°E) Physicist Fényi crater (44,9°S, 105,1°W) Astronomer, (Sun) Hell crater (32,4°S, 7,8°W) Astronomer Hédervári crater (81,8°S, 84,0° E) Geophysicist Izsák crater (23,3°S, 117,1°E) Mathematician Kármán crater (44,8°S, 175,9°E) Theodore Kármán, Physicist Neumann crater (40,4° N, 153,2° E) Mathematician Petzval crater (62,7° S, 110,4° W) Optician Segner crater (58,9° S, 48,3° W) Mathematician, Physicist Szilárd crater (30,4° N, 105,7° E) Physicist Weinek crater (27,5° S, 37,0° E) Geographer, (Moon) Zach crater (60,9° S, 5,3° E) Astronomer

I think you know that any of them are American, like Kármán, Neumann, or Szilárd, because they worked in the USA. It is true, but they were born in Hungary so we regard them as Hungarian.
