The Baradla Cave (Aggtelek-Jósvafö)

Long trip go from Aggtelek to Josvafö. There is not electric light and artificial paths. Its length is 7 km (5 hours). Vörös tó (Red Lake) middle trip go from the Red Lake to Josvafö. Its length is 2300 m (2 hours). Josvafö short trip. Its length is 1500 m (1 hour).

The varied stalactite and stalagmite formations were named on the basis of what their shapes remind of. The most beautiful are the Observatory, which is the largest dripstone formation of Hungary with its 19 m high, the Giants' Hall, the largest in Hungary, the Chinese Pagoda, the Hall of Columns, the Xylophone, and the Concert Hall.

Aggtelek is about 250 km far from Budapest and 55 km far from Miskolc. Car users may drive on the road No 27 from Miskolc. There are also direct bus connection with Budapest and Miskolc.
