1. To disseminate to the public at large about the importance of the day as a warning of the dangers racism poses on humanity and that all the elements of the society must wholeheartedly endeavour to eliminate it.

2. To call all groups fighting against racism to unite in a long-term program

3. To pressure the government to take serious both long-term as well as short-term action for the elimination of racism and racial discrimination.
Our short term goals in Indonesia are as follows:
1. To resist the increase of prices, especially gas and petrol, in Indonesia. The increase of prices will result in diminishing buying power of the people and this will in turn increase the poverty rate, which has the potential to trigger racial hatred.

2. To campaign for labour pay rise to increase the welfare of the people and improve overall living standards, to avoid racial violence.

3. To campaign for the abolition of extra-judicial bodies which have been used by several parties to provoke racial hatred.

4. The abolish all discriminatory laws, be it on the basis of race, ethnicity or religion.

5. To enact the Anti-racial and Ethnic Discrimination Act as means to prevent all forms of racial discrimination and to protect citizens form discriminatory behaviour.

Long term goals:

1. To obliterate all forms of racial prejudice. This will be a long term goal which must be worked on seriously and consistently. A change in the education system will be a crucial tool to achieving this goal. In our opinion, racism and the struggle against it, as well as universal human rights should be advocated and taught all through primary and secondary school. Public education on such matter should not be confined to schools, but also be done through the mass media: the press, television, radio, and so forth.

2. To build international solidarity, together with like-minded organizations to obliterate racism form our world and achieve peace for humanity.
