But the most compelling reason of all to track our status is the sense of satisfaction we experience when reflecting on what has been so far accomplished! A final word about goal setting Some people believe that setting goals results in an inability to recognize new opportunities and a loss of freedom to act spontaneously. Just the opposite is true, however: Goal setting liberates us to determine what it is that we really want to accomplish, and enables us to focus our time and energy on the achievement of those prized results!
