E-BOOKS TO GIVE AWAY OR SELLAn electronic book "e-book" has a lot of versitility and has become increasingly popular as a means of attracting traffic to your web site. There are a number of compilers that are available to put your e-book together ranging in price from Free to $199. My personal favorite is "Web Compiler" which sells for $149.00. I like Web Compiler because it allows me to incorporate a lot more into the book such as, a splash screen (you set the delay time), an icon, logo that replaces their logo, any number of graphics, forms, links both internal and external, direct linking to merchant accounts and complete e-commerce capabilities including a catalog and/or shopping cart. You can even password protect the whole book or selected pages. The book can be set up so that the reader is guided page by page and able to access what you want them to, in the order you want or they can be allowed to select which pages they want to visit. They can be allowed to print pages or printing can be blocked. They can be allowed to or prevented from viewing your source code. Plus a lot more. Compilation is simple. You just make a file of the HTML pages you wish to incorporate, set the parameters, open the page that you want the e-book to start on and click compile. The software does all the work. Your finished product will look great, IF THE HTML PAGES LOOK GREAT. If your site design capabilities are not up to par, I suggest you enlist the services of a professional. There are a number of people who I would recommend to create your e-book for you. The cost of doing this is reasonable, especially when you consider that they first of all have to essentially create a whole website in order to produce a quality e-book.
