Expensive spa treatments often include a clay mask. You can make an inexpensive clay mask out of cat litter. Purchase an all-natural, 100-percent clay cat litter that is scent-free. Mix three tablespoons of cat litter with about three tablespoons of water, then use a mortar and pestle to mix. It's good for detoxifying the skin.
Place a cup or two of cat litter in knee-high pantyhose, tie a knot and leave it in stinky shoes overnight. In the morning the shoes will be deodorized.
Do you want to revive some old, musty smelling furniture? Put shallow pans of kitty litter in each drawer; closed them up. In a couple of days it will smell sweet. If the smell is reluctant to leave repeat with fresh litter until the smell is gone.
