Graduations are coming, June weddings are getting nearer, some folks will be heading for their summer homes soon - all of them can benefit from some goods home making tips.

Whether we are talking about the recent graduate getting a first apartment or the Grandparents moving to a smaller place, there is always something that we know that could help them make the transition.

What staples are recommended for a well-stocked pantry? What to purchase, guidelines on appliances, how to load a dishwasher and kitchen safety are just a few of the topics covered in the chapter on Kitchens.

    Each chapter is a full of useful information. Learn about upholstery, carpet, wood furniture, and lighting in the Living & Dining room chapter. In the Bedrooms & Bath chapter you can go from such basics as How to Make Your Bed to Cleaning Bathrooms.

    Keep your entries short (100 words or less), simple and easily understood. Originality and uniqueness count. Digital pictures accepted if they help the clarity of the tip.

    When I have read all of the tips, I will choose my favorite and announce the winner in my June article at Household Tips. Most of the tips will be used in my June article.
