Suite Hints and Helpful Links

A big part of what we try to do here at Suite 101 is to share with you, our readers, where to find the best information on our specific topic. In some cases there is a lot of overlap in topics. I have been searching our archives and have found a number of articles and/or topics that may have just the piece of information you are seeking.

Take a look at some of what we have to offer you here at Suite 101. (The authors of some of these topics have retired. If you have knowledge and interest in one of these subjects, or perhaps a new one, contact us about adopting a topic.)

Household Hints

There are many things that can help us take care of our homes, our households. Here are some links to articles and topics on these subjects.

Before I adopted the topic Household Tips, it was being written by Christine Stoner. You can find her articles at Household Tips by Christine Stoner

Eclectic Homemaking is the topic written by Cheryl Lewis where, "you will find articles that address all kinds of topics that affect us as mothers; kids, husbands (or the lack of), tips and tricks, recipes, cleaning and organization helps and hints, and still more."

In the topic "Newlywed Life", author Kelly Loubet shares some Bizzarre Household Hints

Creative Homemaking By Rachel Paxton has a number of helpful articles including such offerings as: "Converting Recipes to Lowfat" and "Eight Time-Saving Cooking Tips."

Household Management By Jessica Steinmetz is another source of good information. Following are links to a couple of her useful articles.
Household Chores Assigning household duties can be difficult. Please remember to communicate household work.
Speedy Spring cleaning Spring clean your home from top to bottom! Follow these tips and you'll be on your way for a clean home.

Living within your means

Economic conditions may be up for some, but many more of us need to find ways to live within our means. Our writers at Suite 101 have many tips on how to do just that.

In the topic Simple Living by Debbie DeSpirt, she says, "My articles are dedicated to all who want less dependency on the vast corporations and more dependence of the earth around us." One of her timely articles is: Cutting Costs in the Home where she shares her knowledge of how to "cut costs in the home to have some extra money for the holiday season." The article gives "great tips and ideas to reduce your bills."
