Do you have a family dog? Dogs are great pets. They're warm, affectionate, smart, and friendly. But, a long with dogs comes dog toys and bones. Where does one store all these dog accessories?

Well, unfortunately, most dogs don't put their things away. If you know of one, please let me know. It would be great if they did put their toys back. Here are a few suggestions to keep dog toys and bones from destroying your happy home.

Containers:

* Build a wooden box to keep dog toys in. You can build them out of scratch and is relatively cheap. Feel free to personalize the box - pet name etc.

* Purchase a dog box. They make them in all shapes, colors, and sizes. Most of them are plastic.

* Purchase a plastic box. You can buy these anywhere and are inexpensive.

Clean up:

* Pick up the toys and bones each day. We usually do it at every night. During the day if we pick up toys, they jus drag everything back out again.

* Assign clean up as a chore to one of your children.

Make sure you go through the toys and bones once a month and clear out anything they don't use.
