Are you a person that is constantly on the go? If so, you are not alone. You need to go to work, make appointments, return phone calls, and take care of your children. Let's face it that we need more hours in a day!
Time is the most important thing people have. Ironically, most people have a lack of time. Somewhere in your schedule, you need to take care of the house before the walls come tumbling down. Unfortunately, your house won't take care of itself. Organization is probably the most essential key in household management. Without organization, there will be constant clutter and you won't know where to begin. A common philosophy is to just put things off until you can get to it. How is that working for you? If it is working, I have a feeling that you wouldn't be even reading this article. In order to have a nice home to live in, it's time to sit down and determine how you will organize it. The best way to organize is by doing one room at a time. If you look around, chances are that you'll see trash and clutter. Papers and other things that you thought you would need, but you don't. Now is the time to remove all the garbage. Isolate yourself to one room, and don't worry about the rest of the house yet. You will get to the other parts of the house when you are ready. Just begin to throw away papers and such that you know you will never need again. Throwing away old material will give you a sense of clarity of what is important. Once all the trash is gone, group the things together that you didn't throw away. By grouping things (or organizing), you will get to see what you actually have. Maybe you have 50 pencils, but only one pen. So, now you know not to buy any more pencils for a while. The best part, in my opinion, has arrived. Now that you have your material grouped in piles, you can buy containers. You know exactly the right size, shape, and how many to buy. Just place all your material in the containers and you have an organized clean room! Go To Page: 1
