Jace, I stake mine when they are about a foot tall..otherwise they are too spindly to stake. Leaning over isn't bad is they pop back up in the sunlight the folllowing day. If not..and they are still small..you can kinda 'mound' a little more garden soil around the base to reinforce the plants stability. Stand Tall, Pepper Joe Tell Pepper Joe =============== Dear Pepper Joe, Does anyone have any good ideas on how to keep my neighbors cats out of my garden. I do not want to do anything that would harm them. Thanks. Ted Editors note: I can use some help on this one..I told Ted that I have heard mothballs help...anybody have a good idea besides a dog?
