Bob, I've received an enthusiastic response on offering the Pepperoncino next year. Janie at Cross Country nurseries is a good friend of ours and I recommend her company to customers. Her and her husband toured our gardens last year. She knew virtually every pepper by it's common and scientific name. Keep the Chile heat, yourself too. Pepper Joe

Hi Joe ,just wondering about my pepper plants,I live in Canada on Vancouver Island(mild climate).I start my plants in mid February and transplant to the garden in mid June.Once the seeds have sprouted I put them under florescent grow lights for 16 hours a day,I start about 40 plants of different varieties.It is now late April most of my plants are about 4-6 inches high however some of my plants are starting to flower,I've pinched a few off but more are coming every day.I'm pretty sure it's to early for fruit but I don't know how to stop the flowering.I don't use any fertilizer,just water and lights and it's still too early to plant around here.Do you have any suggestions for me ,I would appreciate it thanks Eric

Eric, To slow down the growth cut back the grow lites considerably..try 8 hours per day. If that doesn't work introduce a little chilly night air by opening a
