They Grow Up So Fast

It amazes me how fast babies frow up! Just a month ago, these little babies were staggering around, falling down and never leaving their mother's side. Now, they are full of energy, playful, inquisitive and into everything, just ask their mothers! They play together, romping all over the pasture, exploring grass and mamma's grain, sniffing the fences and the other horses in the adjoining pasture. The only boy of the three, and the last born is full of masculing pride. If we humans do somethign he does not approve of, he lets us know in no uncertain terms! The first little girl born is a handful for all of us. She is the leader of the group, even though the boy thinks he is, and she LETS him think that! She is mischievous and loves to chew people hair. She can drive her mamma nuts with her constant movement! SHe plays hard, then collapses into a heap to sleep just as hard as she played! The other little girl, the second born, is very lady like. She is the only one of the group that does not crave human companionship. She could go forever with out seeing one of us, and she lets us know that!.
I will spend the next few articles talking about these babies. Their growing and learning and personalities. I hope to introduce you to them so come to love them as much as I do! THey are amazing in their differences, and their simularities! Each a remarkable individual, yet all so similar in certain ways. Being raised the same, treated the same, yet they revel in their individualism, and so do we!
