The Bloody Mouth

count was incredible, and button men were regularly massacred in the streets. What were the Necropoli of these cities like? And did the gang conflicts continue after death? You might want to ignore the conflicts presented in Wraith: the Great War, to keep things focused.

Kindred of the East: I can hardly imagine running a KOTE game without involving organized crime, to be honest, because there are just so many great possibilities when you let a bunch of undead, corrupt "vampires" run around Hong Kong and Bangkok, some of the most corrupt cities in the world. Any horrible crime ring you've heard of on 60 Minutes -- child prostitution, the modern slave trade, organ theft -- can and should be incorporated here.

Time Travel: Okay, call me nutty, call me wacky, but I like this one. At some theoretical point in the future, time travel becomes a reality. The usual agencies and laws and such are built up around it, to protect citizens from themselves. The technology is regulated, perhaps policed. Great -- good idea. The last thing I want is someone from the future coming back to kill me because of something my great-great-grandson did. All right, not the LAST thing, exactly. But it's way down on the list. However ... where there are regulations, there's a black market. Where there's a black market, there's organized crime. See where I'm going? How would that operate? If you had access to illegal time travel technology, what would you ask for in return for it? Money? Somewhat irrelevant, isn't it? Unless there's some reason not to use the tech for yourself, of course.
