Clay Pot Angels

They say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I suppose that can also apply to making angels. If you think about all the different ways there is to make these creatures and each person’s perception to what is beautiful. The creation process is quite unique in it’s own right. But not without trial and error of course. We learn as we grow creatively and that being so we have new ideas born to us with each passing day. In this article I want to give you a cute spring project to focus upon.

As we get ready for spring all the ideas of this years garden’s come vibrantly to mind and this project will help along with that I am hoping. This is a really simple little craft with minimal time involved.

The materials you will need for this project are, a three-inch tall clay pot, hot glue gun, acrylic paint in colors white, black, crackle coat, tan, and red. A q-tip and powder blush. Now take your liner brush having rinsed it out and apply one small dot of red on the mouth and another dot very close to it and then pull down with your liner brush and this should make a heart. Rinsing your brush apply thin eyelashes on your angel eyes and a thin line to make eyebrows. Now dot your brush in the white paint and highlight the eyes with a very small dot of white in the center.

Apply the powder blush on a q-tip to the cheeks to give the angel rosy cheeks. Hot glue the curly doll hair on the head until you have the desired fullness there. Take your star garland and make a circle and hot glue on her head for the halo. Cutting away any excess. Now take your ribbon and make three cuts of
