Christmas Angel Wreath Part IThe warmth and seasoned feeling of Christmas can be felt all around. It seems to quickly be approaching and I thought of something very simple and quick to make to help bring in the holiday cheer. As Christmas is a time for warmth peace and love, angels play a special role as they light our tree’s adorn our decorations, take home to our Christmas tree’s during this time of year. Notice if you will that in all the department stores there are angels all around. I have seen some of the most beautiful ones already this year. Last year I decorated one of my tree’s in all the angel ornaments that I had made. Although it was not the most beautiful creation, it however exhibited warmth and love. If you make something from you heart how can it not be beautiful so in it’s own right it stood out among the rest. Even if you are a novice crafter, I am sure that this project I have on mind will be made with that in mind and in heart. The supplies you will need are quite simple and can be found easily at your local craft store. You will need a twelve-inch grapevine wreath, a spool of any type of holiday wired ribbon, this usually comes in spools of three to five yards. I would suggest the five yard spool as to have enough to make a nice ribbon for your wreath. You will need a hot glue gun, craft wire, a twelve-inch doll body, a package of curly doll hair, a package of raffia. You will also need a black and red thin tipped permanent marker and some blush for the cheeks yes I mean make up blush too. For the dress I will try to explain the simplest dress pattern that I have found that works well. And please feel free if you do not understand any instruction’s e-mail me and I will be more than happy to assist you in any way that I can. You will need one forth of a yard of any type printed cotton material, one yard of one inch of eyelet lace trim, a needle and thread, scissors and to go along with this Christmas theme some red poinsettia’s perhaps or whatever holiday themed flowers garland, or whatever you fancy here. Next week I will conclude to part II of putting this together.
