Homespun Angels

Angels are believed to be messengers of God, and guardians to us humans. They are powerful creatures who invoke so much inspiration from us all. I beleive that is why they are so admired and adored. The fascination with angels is so overwhelming. We draw greeting cards with their pictures on them,we write books about them, we wear clothes with their emblems on them, we even paint beautiful paintings of them.

The world is just fascinated with these divine creatures.We even have people who study them as a profession {Angelologists}. If we look at the spiritual side of angels and if you are spiritual in any way you cannot deny the presence of them.I beleive in their presence, and I am not alone in that belief, millions of others across the world also beleive.I was so impressed with all the information I was able to find this week on the internet only dedicated to angels in some form or another, whether it be the religious view, or the hundreds of angel craft sites I came across, it was amazing.

If you ask yourself the question{why to believe in angels} I would have to say it empowers you with hope, inspiration, and feelings of love. I believe they watch over us, protect us, and serve us as humans. And anyone who crafts them as I do become meticulous about making them the beauties they truly are. Angel crafters alike make them truly from their heart. How else could we create something so beautiful and breathtaking? Our hearts and minds create the images we want others to see. We take that journey to discover and create the art of crafting, to complete the image our minds create.

I am also drawn to the spiritual side of these powerful creatures. It is said that the Archangel Gabriel is the only female angel, and she has 140 pairs of wings! Angel wings have been said to have been painted by great artists, and it has been said that they were molded from large beautiful birds. Angels can speak any language, as to understand everything us humans are saying. The music of angels is thought to be the vibrations of the universe, the song of creation of life. If we believe these things of angels, our hearts are lighter, our hope is brighter, and maybe we won't feel so alone here on earth.The mere thought of angels, whether it be religous, or handcrafted makes the world a better, happier place to live. From the crafter's point of view there's nothing sweeter than making angels, and painting sweet cherubs. They inspire harmony as they have inspired me to craft them for more than eight years now.
