Ice pits

You will need: an ice cube, a plate and some salt.

Place the ice on a plate and pile a little salt on the middle of the top of the ice cube.
Wait a few minutes.
The top of the ice cube will get a pit in it where the salt is placed. Salt lowers the melting point of the ice.
