Can You Hear That?


Use the cups as a telephone. Hold one cup to your ear. Have your friend talk into the other end. Test the different lengths of string. Which length sounds more clear? Does the length make any difference at all? Can you hear the helper on the other end more clearly if you hold a plain cup over your other ear while trying to listen to your helper? Why?
