Pre-school Song Lyrics: Row Your Boat, Wheels on the Bus, The Engine, and Windy Weather© Cheryl Lewis
Sep 4, 2002
Here are the lyrics for some fun pre-school songs that have hand and body movements.
Row, Row, Row Your Boat
Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream
Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily,
Life is but a dream
Variations:
- Roll, roll, roll your hands as slowly as can be, roll, roll, roll your hands, do it now with me.
- Roll, roll, roll your hands as fast as fast can be...
- Clap, clap, clap your hands as slowly as can be...
- Clap, clap, clap your hands as fast as fast can be...
Try substituting roll and clap for other things like "shake your hands," "stomp your foot," or "wiggle, wiggle, wiggle."
The Wheels On The Bus
The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round
The wheels on the bus go round and round, all through the town.
The horn on the bus goes beep beep beep...
The wipers on the bus go swish, swish, swish...
The people on the bus go up and down...
The babies on the bus go waa, waa, waa waa...
The mommies on the bus go sh sh sh...
Add as many refrains as desired about all the different parts of the bus that make a sound or do something.
The Engine
Here is an engine that runs on this track,
It whistles "Toot-Toot" and then it runs back.
Windy Weather
Like a leaf or a feather, in the windy, windy, weather
We will whirl around and twirl around,
And all fall down together.
