The Common Cold

This is that time of the year when everyone seems to suffer at sometime or another with the Common Cold. Of course, not serious in itself but is an inconvenience, and for that reason I have decided to write this article in the hope that those people who have not, as yet, tried Homeopathy will now venture to do so.

Unlike conventional medicine, with Homeopathy you have to pick very carefully the type of remedy or, in other words, tablets to effect a cure. And that is why, below, you will see listed various symptoms pertaining to the Common Cold, the heading of which indicates the remedy for those symptoms. And, unlike conventional medicine in the most, if you choose the wrong remedy then you won't suffer any side effects - it'll simply not work! So, go on, give it a try! If you haven't anywhere near you that sells Homeopathic remedies, if you click on the Links above you will find listed various sales outlets that you can contact.

ADVICE ON TAKING REMEDIES FOR THE COMMON COLD

You can buy remedies in various potencies, but the 30c is recommended for all of the following symptoms. Now, just to remind you: take one tablet and crunch it to bits in a clean mouth, at least half an hour before or after taking food or drink. And after taking your first tablet, wait two hours to observe your symptoms. If you don't feel any better, take another. If you feel slightly better, then don't take another but wait a further two hours. If after that time there is no further improvement or you feel worse, then take another. If there is a further improvement, then leave alone.

IF A REMEDY DOESN'T WORK

Although I've touched on this before, for the benefit of those who haven't read my previous article, here is a summary:

There are various reasons why a remedy appears not to be working:

1. You have chosen the wrong remedy.
2. You have the right remedy, but something you've eaten or drank, or even your toothpaste, can counteract the effects of that remedy; in other words, it can prevent it from working.
3. You have the right remedy but need to take it more frequently than that recommended above.

REMEDIES FOR THE COMMON COLD

Take ACONITE if:
Your cold came on suddenly and quickly developed into severe symptoms, probably because you were out in extremely cold weather wearing only thin clothing, or maybe you got caught in a bad downpour of rain and got soaking wet and it was a while before you could change into dry clothing, or maybe you simply caught it from another person - whatever the reason, if it came on suddenly and you quickly became very rough with it - take Aconite.
