The Start of a Love Affair

As strange as it is to describe my interest in Homeopathy as such, that's exactly what it feels like, as anyone who has been touched by, what I can only describe as, a 'magnetic pull' will understand. It was s few years ago that I first became interested in Homeopathy. I had just taken LUCKY - a small Whippet-x - to the vet for his yearly vaccination program. This would have been his third jab, since he was then aged three. Within three months of him receiving that jab all the fur on his front leg had completely gone, leaving only bare skin. It happened very quickly, too. I remember noticing a bare patch, but nothing to cause any concern and Lucky himself wasn't irritated by it, the next thing: no fur at all! It was round about that time that a documentary came on TV where Catherine O'Driscoll was warning against the dangers of over vaccinating pets - and she had certainly done her homework: quoting great chunks of work that came from the vets' own Veterinary Handbook and consulting with experts on the problem, who also believed the same as she did. In the circumstances, I decided not to go back to my own vet. I got in touch with a Homeopathic Vet, a Master of his Craft, having practised Homeopathy for thirty years and having obtained the highest honours bestowed on anyone in the Homeopathic field of medicine. Although both the Orthodox and the Homeopathic Vets carry out a thorough examination of the animal, where Homeopathy differs is in its line of questioning, because the type of remedy (Homeopathic term for medicine) prescribed will mainly be based on the answers given. When finished, the vet gave me three tablets to give to Lucky (I can't now remember what they were). I had to give him one a day and then wait two weeks to observe results. By the end of those two weeks his fur was beginning to grow back. I never again embarked on the vaccination program but did allow him to receive nosodes, which is the Homeopathic equivalent. However, exactly a year later to the day of his vaccination the same leg started to lose its fur again. By that time, I had been studying Homeopathy for a year and decided to treat him using Thuja. Just over a week later the fur was growing back again. The following year the same thing happened, although not as bad. I gave him Thuja and his fur grew back. And, yet, the year after that he lost his fur, although this time only on his foot. I gave him Thuja and again his fur grew back. This year, touch wood, he has remained completely cured!
