Fast food

  • I am a huge offender of quandry — I spend more time trying to figure out what I want to make than actually making it! If you are like me, I would recommend making single-item purees. Then, when it's feeding time, mix a couple of cubes together (i.e. an apple cube and a carrot cube, or a brocolli cube and a potato cube, or an apricot cube and banana, etc), instead of making multiple-item purees. If you are not like me, I applaud you! Make as many multi-mixes as you like!
  • Finally, improvise! I quit making my own apples when I realized many applesauces in the store are "pure," as in no added stuff, just apples (I know, you're saying "duh!"). You may find your own ways of cutting corners too! Any more ideas? If you have them, please share! I am sure we would ALL like to know how to squeeze some more time out of our busy schedules!

Until then, good luck, and let me know how it goes!
