The low-down on making baby cerealAnd, if your baby is just venturing into "solid" foods, remember to make the cereal real runny for at least a few weeks. You will know when it is too thick when your baby gags on it! Be sure to start with rice only (even if your baby has already tried different store-bought varieties of cereal) for at least four days to make sure your baby isn't allergic to your homemade baby cereal, then you may add a new grain, one at a time. Wheat and corn are considered high-allergen foods, so leave those for the VERY last!
Good luck and have fun!
