Christmas is the Worst Time to be homelessThe point of this article is that this year there is fear there won't be enough generous people to donate to the Christmas gift fund. So many have dug deep to give to the September 11th fund. I know several of my friends said they are taped out. They gave their yearly quote of donations to the Red Cross or Salvation Army for 911. I was told even teenage girls, and older retarded men and women, like to hold soft stuffies. If you knit or crochet you can make a hat or scarf and donate that to keep a child or adult warm. Look around your home. Are their things you have never used? Perhaps gifts you've received which you put away? Maybe it is time to donate them to someone who has very little and bring a smile to them on Christmas. The food pantries also are looking for non perishable food stuffs. Canned goods, and boxed foods are the best to
