I know that we would all like to have a wonderful looking yard, and we will most likely be talking about landscaping again soon. But for many of us it really comes down to knowledge and time. A good looking yard doesn't grow all by itself. Our yards require the right fertilizers, pesticides, and herbicides. The knowledge part is something you have to gain for yourself, but you can always rely on someone else's expertise. And it is always nice to rely on someone else's time too. I know that there are horror stories out there so you should investigate your own local area service profider, but I and friends have used Trugreen and Lawn Doctor at times in the past and they have been reasonably priced and very effective.

Lawn Doctor, for example, offers weed killer, fertilizer, aerating, and power seeding. The power seeding service sounds pretty interesting. Basically they do what is necessary, other than the watering, to re-seed an area in an way that gives it the best chance for success.

Both companies will come out and explain what they can do for you and what your yard needs. The best thing is that you can schedule regular service and you don't have to be there for them to provide it.

You don't have to mess with chemicals, sprayers, or spreaders. They will make sure that other than the watering and mowing, you will have the best looking lawn on the block.
