Seedland.com

I know that I am always looking for new sources of information just to give me a new look on things or to share something that I had not yet known.

Seedland.com is the site for a company that is a seller of grass seed and plenty of other lawn, garden and yard products. But their site gives you plenty of information of different types of lawn grass and articles on lawn care as well.

For example, under their listing for lawn care they have an article for dogs and lawns, which we talked about last week. In their article they give some basic suggestions for new lawns and for established lawns.

One nice feature is that they have a "state" link which takes you to a page that will help you determine the zone in which you live. You can then click on links to see what grasses would work well in your zone. You can even read about those specific grasses if you like.

In this time of year I found this site to be very valuable. I used it to get an idea of what it would be good to do for my yard based on the season.
