Now I don't normally try to do a bunch of selling for an organization, but this just seems like to good of a deal. The Ardor Day organization is making a great offer to folks in order to get people to help with their mission.

"We help people plant and care for trees", is a vision statement for the Arbor Day organization and they are asking for your help, in a sense.

If you go out to the Ardor Day website (http://www.arborday.org) you will find a lot of great information about caring for your trees. They have a link for what hardiness zone. Essentially this is the breakdown for your area as for the coldness and heat in the area depending on the season.

They also sell Rainforest coffee and have a lot of other good information, but that's not the greatest part. What they are offering is ten trees for ten dollars.

That's right! Ten trees for ten dollars. You are actually signing up for an Arbor Day membership so you get much more than just the trees. Your ten dollars gets you a membership card, The Tree Book with planting and care information, the Arbor Day bimonthly newsletter subscription for 6-month (which is the actual length of the membership, and 33-56% off on the purchase of more than 50 varieties of trees. But the best thing to me is the 10 free trees.

You get to choose between Colorado Blue Spruce trees or ten flowering trees. If you choose the flowering trees you get 2 White Flowering Dogwoods, 2 Goldenraintrees, 2 Flowering Crabapples, 2 Washington Hawthorns, and 2 American Redbuds. In addition to this they are also throwing in a free French Lilac shrub.

Some of the great service that comes with these trees includes the fact that the tress are each 6 to 12 inches tall, will come with easy planting instructions, and will be shipped at the right time for planting in your area.

The trees are also guaranteed to grow, or the Arbor Day foundation will replace them free of charge. To be sure that the trees arrive in good condition, they ship them as bare root stock when they are dormant in the fall or spring seasons. Trees are postpaid and sent at the time that is appropriate to your local climate and this year's weather.

To me it seems like a great deal. If you can't use ten trees yourself, I'm sure you can find someone to share some with. Enjoy.
