What Cable Channels are you Watching?

You may not be one of the lucky few to have access to this channel, but if you are, consider yourself blessed. If you are not, you may want to get on the horn and call your cable company and ask to have it added. HGTV has quickly become our favorite TV channel. I don't necessarily watch every program, or have it on all day, but it is now my "go to" station.

Everyone probably has a "go to" channel, you just don't realize it. This is the station that when you have surfed them all, and found nothing that grabs your attention, you "go to" this one, and leave it there knowing that something good will come up soon.

HGTV has a large number a of varying types of shows. From gardening, to crafts, from decorating, to repair, these guys have it all. They recently had a show about homes on the water. This was not about a landlocked, riverfront house, it was about living full-time on a boat. Not only was it interesting to see a show on a different type of lifestyle, but it was a wonderful source for new ideas on storage and design.

The webpage, now linked off of this site, is just as varied. The links change regularly and there are ideas for all sorts of projects. You may even find ideas for a project that you didn't know you had in you.

Winter isn't a big time for gardeners, but how about starting a compost pile? How about working on a patio or window garden? How about links to over 100 different repair and remodeling projects. It is there.

As the web grows, and the technology expands, more and more is available. HGTV.com is an example of what can be done, and I will endeavor to keep you up-to-date on what more is out there.
