It's easy to feel let down when the decorations come down and the presents are put away. There are ways to make sure you don't fall into the holiday blues. With a little thought and a bit of creativity, you can breeze right through the post holiday days.
If you have snow, go out and build a snowman, go sledding or tobogganing, or even skiing. Try your hand, or foot, at ice-skating. Freeze snowballs for the summer. Have a snowball fight, safely. If it's hot and sunny where you are, go to the beach, build a sand castle, take up beach combing. Have a pig roast on the beach. Take up volleyball, or even surfing (the catch a wave kind). Start Anew: If you're just not the outdoors type there are other things to keep you busy. Get a new haircut, yes both men and women. Get out of There!: Go on a trip. If you live with snow right now, go south, west or down under. Rent a ski cabin, light a fire, and just read for an entire weekend.
