Celebrate Earth Day!
I am also always conscious of Mother Earth, and all that she provides for us. I thank her, everyday, for her bounties. I also strive to keep her natural state intact. Or as much intact as one can. I recycle. Not just bottles and cans. Recycle just about everything. I throw nothing out unless it has been used at least two times. Sometimes more. Here are some examples of how I do this. 1. I use both sides of computer paper. A simple thing, but it saves on the depletion of the rain forests. There are so many more things I recycle, on a daily basis. But I think you get the idea. There is so much more to saving the Earth, than recycling. There's preserving natural habitats. This can be done in many ways. Like, don't litter. How hard is it to hold on to a paper cup, until you see a trash can? When camping, or enjoying the outdoors, leave the area the same way you found it. If you found it a mess, clean it up. Don't drive a block to the store, walk. Save gas, air quality, and your health. Here is one of my favorites; Throw handfuls of flower seed on the roadsides. Use perennials, and they will come back year after year. Looking for a way to celebrate Earth Day? Remember starting out small is thinking big. Every effort counts. What are some of the ways I celebrate Earth Day?
