Sweetheart's Gifts for The Year Round

It's nice to have a day set aside for honoring you Sweetheart. Valentine's Day is a special day. But why stop at that one day. Spontaneous love tokens are just as special, even on March 4th, or July 17th. I have come up with some special gift ideas for treating your sweetheart any time.

For that special someone

If you want to, the traditional flowers and candy are always nice. But why not treat your love with something special?

1. Cook their favorite dish. Sounds simple? It is. Yet it can mean so much to the recipient.

2. JEWLERY. For both men and women. Now you don't need to go in to debt. A simple gold chain, or a nice pair of costume earrings will light up their smile.

3. A nice gift basket filled with some of their favorite things. Personal items like perfume, cologne, herbal teas, personal pampering items, anything that says: this is to make you feel good.

4. Personalized coupons. How about a coupon good for a foot or back rub? Maybe one for a day off from housework. Of course you will be doing the work instead of them. For that busy mom, why not a coupon for a Saturday without the hubby and kids? You do the babysitting, and she gets out of the house. The coupon possibilities are endless, use your imagination.

5. Gift certificates. For a make over, a day at the gym, to their favorite specialty store, a maid service, something they would love.

6. Something hand made. Nothing says I love you like something you create just for that special person. Everyone treasures something handmade with love. Whether it's a simple painted soup can, for pencils, or an elaborate piece of furniture, any one can make something. As long as you create it with love, it's a keeper.

For your other sweethearts:

For the kids , That's right, don't forget the kids. They are your little sweethearts, after all.

1. Give them their own box of candy. They will be in Heaven.

2. Heart shaped barrettes, for the girls, and heart shaped cookies for both.

3. Valentine coloring books for the younger ones. Sticker books are good too.

4. Bake a heart shaped cake, or heart decorated cup cakes.

5. And don't forget to just say I love you. Sometimes we get so busy we forget. So give plenty of hugs and kisses, every day.
