Decorating with Collectibles
3. Collect little boxes? Great, they can make wonderful arrangements. 4. What about an eclectic collection of candle sticks? A smattering of different sizes and shapes will create a deliberate, carefree style. 5. Now, why not use those salt and pepper shakers? They are not just for the kitchen anymore. That Occasional Table Nearly everyone has an occasional, or accent table, in need of some company. Maybe it's in a corner, and looks too naked. Or, maybe you just inherited a lovely end table, and you just don't know what to do with it. All of tables will lend themselves to your collectibles like nobody's business. You can arrange your porcelain collection, your crystal collection, and even your sea shell collection, on those lonely tables. The sky's the limit. Anything, that will fit, can be arranged on any table. Have a collection, and nowhere to put it? Here are some suggestions. 1. Group a bunch of baskets in a bare corner of the room. 2. Small rugs can become beautiful wall hangings. 3. China dishes, hung on the wall, make a pretty addition to any room. Even the bathroom. 4. Tea cups can go up on that mantle, as can your Teddy Bear collection. 5. Stack coffee table books to make a coffee table. Stack them in two piles, place a piece of finished glass on top, and there you have it. And you'll enjoy the irony of your creation. 6. Antique wooden chairs can be hung along a Dinning room or Kitchen wall. High enough, of course, so you wont bump into them. These are just a few ideas for decorating with Collectibles. Hope they got those creative juices flowing. Now go out there and decorate, create, and have fun doing it. Please stop by the seven other Home topics.
