I guess I just enjoyed the humorous sequence so much, that I was hoping that the whole picture would be a comedy. Even so, everything you see here is evidence of the John Ford style -- with its mixture of sentiment, humor, and action -- and is certainly worthwhile for fans. While I much prefer the other Ford pictures I've already mentioned, 3 Godfathers has enough charm and humor for it to make it to the finish line.
