You'll also want to make sure that your body detoxifies, and even your skin is flushed of the Nicotine. The easiest way to do this is to drink at least a gallon of water a day. I know that sounds like a lot, but once you do the self-hypnosis script, you'll crave water like you never have before, even if you don't normally drink water. You will also want to do some sort of exercise, even simply walking, for about 20 minutes each day. Don't say you don't have time to do it. This is one of the most important things you'll ever do for yourself, so make the time for YOU! Believe it or not, that's it. Simple, natural, effective. I'm going to give you a full hypnosis script to tape for yourself, along with a "Smoking Inventory" to help you see when and why you smoke and when and why you smoke even more. You'll be able to modify aspects of your life that cause you to smoke, so that you'll know when you might feel a trigger moment and want to give in, and you'll be prepared. Remember, however, that a craving can last only one minute. That's right, one minute! If you do feel a craving coming in after you've quit, tell yourself to wait for just one minute; and while you're waiting, do the relaxation technique in last week's article. You are going to be amazed how much better you feel in a very short amount of time. You'll notice right away how your skin color is changing, your teeth are getting whiter, your breathing is easier and more regular, your sense of smell and taste become drastically better almost immediately, and you have more time and energy to do the things you love to do. Another very important thing is a support group. Every Monday night from 7:00 - 10:00 Central Standard time, we have Holistic Therapy Chat in Suite101's Holistic Therapy Chat Room. You are more than welcome to join us any time at all! I'm also almost always online during the day, so use the Human Click button on this article or on my front page to find me if you need tips, or just need to talk. RECAP:
