David Vennels covers (and gives visual aids to demonstrate): Reflexology for Beginners also covers how to do a treatment, including how to set up your therapy area and what to expect from the treatment. There's information on inspecting and "reading" the foot for signs of certain conditions and how to "warm-up" for the main treatment. The information and charting for a full treatment is excellent, and there's lots of practical advice, too! There's also an entire chapter on case studies, a chapter on concepts, and even a chapter on meditations for the therapist. Using this book, you can easily learn and practice Reflexology for yourself and others. The charting is thorough and easy to understand, and the layout of the entire book is easy and practical to follow from start to finish. My own experience after using this book has been incredible! Just a few days ago, I started feeling that old familiar pain in my kidneys and instantly grabbed my copy of Reflexology for Beginners and flipped to the foot chart. I showed my husband how to do the thumb walking and knuckle press technique, and within five minutes, my pain was gone! I've also found that I can easily do a complete treatment on myself and that I feel better for days afterwards! I hope you enjoy the same results!
