My son Allen is now twenty. He has Cerebral Palsy. When he was little one of my favorite memories of him involved a quilt. While I was making it. It was getting longer and longer and stretched down to the floor. Each evening when I would work on it Allen would crawl up next to me and roll up in the bottom of it to stay warm. When the quilt was finished I gave it to him. I have made many a quilt since then for gifts to family members on special occasions. I love needlework and one of the last things that I stitched was "The Lord's Prayer." I am going to make it into a sofa pillow for my mother.
