Unmanned Aerial Vehicles

Predator Medium Altitude UAV

As these words are written, much of the air phase of the Afghanistan Campaign has died down. Hostilities may yet flare again, over Afghanistan and elsewhere, but for a time at least, a semblance of peace has been found. Even now, though, UAVs operating under the aegis of the Air Force and the CIA roam the skies over Afghanistan, and quite likely, many other dangerous places. And these strange robot craft have ushered in a new age.
