PLEASE. I don't believe I'm even hearing this. If you wanted to make a point about how Ronin Ro made his name as a Source writer and lacked credibility on that basis, I'd have been with you -- but instead you're saying he DESERVES TO BE KILLED because he exposed Death Row Records as a home of racketeering, gangsterism, and fraudulent business practices.
BULLSHIT. First of all, that's the JOB of a journalist: bringing things into the public light others would rather hide in the dark. I'm a firm believe in the role of the Third Estate as a check on the Government and the exceedingly rich so that they can't get away with shameful practices. THAT is why the press is so rightfully protected by the intent of the First Amendment.
Second of all, this book has nothing to do with "selling to white folks" because the book is for ANYBODY who wants to read what Ronin Ro has to say. Do you think people walk into a bookstore and go "Gee gosh golly I'm a white man and I don't know anything about these black rapper people could you please point me to a book about those black rappers gosh gee thanks"? GET REAL.
Third, have you even considered that Suge Knight got what HE deserved? This was not, by ANYone's account, a nice guy. I mean we have a VIDEO of him kicking and beating the piss out of someone the same night 'Pac was shot. Isn't this a good clue? This isn't a businessman, this is a THUG who had the time and money to make a record company as a front for his illicit practices. If Ronin hadn't wrote what he did, somebody else BLACK OR WHITE would have done the same.
