For those of you who don't know, hip-hop refers to a diverse range of
cultural phenomena including "rap" music, b-boy "breakdancing",
throw-ups "graffiti" and so much more. Like the culture itself, the
hip-hop resources on the world wide web are diverse and information rich
as compared to other more meager information from ordinary rock or from
"blah and so and so's" rock artist homepage.
If you check out the links I've provided as a Suite 101 editor, you'll find some of these varied hip-hop resources. Among the things that are available on the web are an "Art Crimes" site with graffiti from around the world, the "Internet Ghetto Blaster" with a constant rotation of new music, and online versions of such popular magazines as Vibe and RapPages. Keep watching this space. Every week I'll be writing to you about new and exciting hip-hop resources available on the world wide web. I5ive will be your _exclusive_ and _definitive_ source for hip-hop links; brought to you by the founder of the rec.music.hip-hop newsgroup and the editor of HEADz UP!, the internet's premier "no bullshit" hip-hop e-zine.
