In what surely must be the most unusual turn for Master P yet in his long career, the self-styled Don of gangster rap has decided to become a Don of professional WRESTLING as well. He has formed a team of No Limit Soldiers within the WCW and is making cameo appearances along with his labelmates to support them in the sport.
Some have even suggested that this is a last ditch effort by Master P to salvage something from his waning record label, who hasn't had any recent chart hits. This seems to be a stretch; as every record label enters dry spells and for No Limit to have a dry run would not be that unusual. Competition in his area of dominance has heated up in 1999, though one suspects that the Cash Money Millionaires are not planning to field a squad of wrestlers any time soon, nor are the Three 6 Mafia. No doubt, whatever the outcome of P's entry into the WCW, it's not likely we will ever see him in the ring other than as a hypeman. And that, my friends, is the real shame here. After all who among us would not want to see him squashed under hundreds of pounds of pro wrestler? That gives the phrase "Make Em Say UNGGGGGGGH" an entirely NEW and appropriate meaning it never had before! Peace, Flash Go To Page: 1
