The History of Hip Hop

© Steve Scarbriel

I got an email from a mom requesting information on the history of hip hop for her daughter who was doing a research paper for school. My first instinct was to suggest she browse my collection of hip hop history links and imagine my surprise when I realized I didn't have a collection of hip hop history links. So here it is, better late than never, Hip Hop Suite 101's collection of links on the history of hip hop music, culture and politics. I want to thank this mom (who I'll call Cindy) for bringing this to my attention. And please, if you see me sleepin' on anything else, let me know and if it's humanly possible, I'm on it!
