Tired of the same old boring colleges?


Cornell College (Mount Vernon, IA) Nope, not Cornell University the Ivy League school - Cornell College offers a unique one-course-at-a-time system. About 1000 students take one course each 3.5 week term (out of a choice of 57 each time). Most classes have less than 25 students, and there are four day breaks between terms for social and cultural events. It is affiliated with the Methodist Church, but welcomes those of all religions. Foreign study is available as part of specific courses and through the Association of Midwestern Colleges, and internships can be completed off-campus for credit.
