Supplemental Materials Many applications ask that you submit supplemental materials. If they ask for a resume, make sure that it is done professionally (for tips, see a Suite101 site about resumes. Other materials you may want to include are a sample of your academic work (send a graded copy of your best recent essay), some creative writing, slide of artwork, music recordings, video tapes of performances, and samples of award-winning projects. Most of all, remember to have fun. The application process should not be a huge source of stress and it should enable you to see if you like the schools to which you are applying. Good luck!
